Our Story
In June 2013 ten members of the Pasco Christian Church (PCC) went to Haiti on a short-term church mission to the Haitian Christian Mission (HCM) which the church had been supporting for a number of years. Coleen Blundon was one of the ten members from PCC who went to Haiti and has gone back to Haiti several times since then. After seeing many, many young people just hanging out with nothing to do, she and a friend decided to form a non-profit organization to support Haitian education programs. Particularly those who were "Beyond Classic" education. The foundation was certified by the state of Washington as a Non-Profit Corporation effective 10/26/2017 and meets the requirements as a 501 (c) (3) Public Charity.
Meet our current student
Oscar
Oscar's words:

I'm from Fond-Parisien, that is where I grew up and that's where I did all my primary studies. Now I live in Port au Prince I am 26 years old, when I finish my studies I would like to do a specialty. I don't want to stay as a generalist.

My story with medicine is something that comes naturally, when I was perhaps 13 years old and I had a little sister whom I loved very much and left to die in my mother's arms because there was not specialist in the area who cold help her. It was very tragic for my mother and until now she is morally weak because of the things that left the past. Since then I have taken my school seriously even though I lacked the means I said one day have the mission to save lives so that this does not happen to another mother.
